This machine has a 2-stroke engine with stratified charge A fuel-free layer of air is formed between the burned charge in the combustion chamber and the fresh charge in the crankcase, reducing the amount of fuel lost during the charge cycle. This results in more power with a lower weight, up to 20% lower fuel consumption than standard 2-stroke engines, and significantly lower exhaust emissions. Before ignition, four overflow channels swirl the fuel-air mix, allowing for optimal combustion and high efficiency. As a result, fuel consumption is reduced while torque is increased across a wide range of rpm.

Intense vibration at power tool handles can have long-term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms. As a result, STIHL has developed an effective anti-vibration system that dampens oscillations from the machine’s engine, significantly reducing vibrations at the handles.

The Ematic chain lubrication system ensures that the saw chain links and guide bar rails are lubricated precisely.
